Schema therapy, CBT, ACT, DBT, EFT, social skills training, and EMDR are some of the evidence based treatments available at our clinic. We work with adolescents (aged 9+) and adults. We see clients privately, under medicare, via NDIS and WorkCover.
Maxwell & Moore Psychology offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments for children 9+ and adults. This includes diagnostic assessments for Autism, ADHD, learning & cognitive difficulties/strengths.
Maxwell & Moore Psychology offers group programs on various topics throughout the year. Groups are an ideal option to connect with others, normalise challenges you may be experiencing and are a cost effective support option.
Maxwell & Moore Psychology have STAP-accredited supervisors and can support provisional psychologists undertaking the 5+1 and 4+2 registration pathways. Maxwell & Moore provide clinical supervision to other mental health professionals. Please contact us to discuss capacity and suitability.
Maxwell & Moore Psychology is available to provide education sessions on a variety of topics to your organisation or school, both online or in person. Please enquire within.
Please note, Maxwell & Moore Psychology is a private practice and is NOT a bulk-billing clinic. The current recommended fee from the AAPI for 2025/2026 is $330 for a standard 50-minute appointment. Maxwell & Moore Psychology fees remain lower than this fee. Fees are payable in full at the time of consultation.
A non-refundable deposit of $80 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment spot. Should you need to cancel (with more than 48 hours notice), this deposit can be credited for another consultation.

All psychologists are legally required to be registered in Australia, which means your psychologist is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. As a client of Maxwell & Moore Psychology, you have a right to expect that:
• You will be treated with respect at all times
• Your cultural background and language tradition will be respected
• You will be given a clear explanation of the services you will receive
• You will be asked to give your consent for any service provided by your psychologist prior to the service commencing and as it progresses
• You will receive an explanation about the confidentiality of the service and the exceptional situations where your confidentiality may not be protected
• You will receive a clear statement about fees for your psychologist’s services
• There will be a discussion about the estimated number of sessions required to achieve your goals
• You will receive skilled and professional services from your psychologist
• There will be clear goals that you and your psychologist are working toward
• You can ask any questions about the service you are receiving
NOTE: If you have any concerns about the above matters, discuss them with your psychologist. If you have concerns about the conduct of your psychologist, you may call the Psychology Board of Australia on 1300 419 495.
